eCourts case status
eCourts status into your matter in one paste
Copy the eCourts case-status page and paste it into the matter: CNR, stage, court, next date and the full case history are read in.
The problem
Checking eCourts case by case, past a CAPTCHA every time, and copying dates by hand into a diary is slow and error-prone.
How AdvocateFlow handles it
- Open the case on eCourts as usual, select the case-status page and paste it into AdvocateFlow.
- AdvocateFlow reads the CNR, case stage, court and judge, next hearing date and every row of the case history, and adds any listing you have not recorded.
- Each date shows its source: the advocate, an order, or eCourts.
- AdvocateFlow never bypasses the eCourts CAPTCHA and never logs in on your behalf.
Questions
- Does AdvocateFlow scrape eCourts automatically?
- No. eCourts protects lookups with a CAPTCHA, which AdvocateFlow respects. You paste the page; AdvocateFlow reads it.
- What is a CNR number?
- The Case Number Record: a 16-character number eCourts gives every case in district courts, such as DLCT010012342024. It stays the same for the life of the case.
